The Owls took on Ferrum College on September 7th with a 5pm kickoff. Ferrum scored off a free kick outside the box to bring the score to 1-0. The Owls had many chances to equalize but were unlucky in their pursuit. The Ferrum keeper was able to deny some great opportunities from the Owls but in the end kept the ball out of the net.
